Have you ever had someone ask: How are you? and have NO IDEA how to answer? That's how I feel today.
Thanksgiving was better than I expected. If you ever feel the need to "feed your soul" may I suggest volunteering your time to help people who can introduce you to a new perspective. Not being able to be with family for the holiday and missing my dad so much it was difficult to breathe, I found contentment in the eyes of strangers as I helped serve them Thanksgiving dinner. It was pure happiness to be able to share this day with people who were so appreciative of just my time. If it didn't sacrifice time away from my family on a holiday, which I need very much, I would do this every year. It filled my soul.
A fabulous get together with the Now 21 year old GingerGayle and her family that night wrapped up a great day.
Today was busy busy...until Stace got here this afternoon. My wounded heart needs her, and it soothed away a lot of the doubts that I have. "You're worth fighting for..." Words that surround me like a warm hug from a familiar friend. We relaxed the afternoon away, until it was time to head back to work...
Now, here I am, ready to get the weekend started. It's the official celebration of Gayle's birthday at Cousin Sam's tomorrow night.
Have a great weekend, my friends!

second: where did Catiedid go?!? did her membership run dry? is she coming back?
third: if you think that pic is beard-tastic, have i got a good one for you now. unfortunately it will have to go up tomorrow.
