SOOOOOO ready for the weekend...
This week has been looooong. I feel like standing on my tip-toes and kissing the calender that finally reads that it's Friday. I love my job, but the filler between being here and being back here the next day has been challenging.
But it's the weekend...tomorrow after the morning show, I'm headed over to the high school for girls basketball practice. I have nervous butterflies thinking about being part of a team again, even if it's just with shooting help. Exhilarated, would be the word I would use to describe the flutterbys that consume me. So, after a couple hours of practice, I'm headed home to pack and maybe, hopefully get a nap.
Back to work Saturday evening, and then it's off to Chicago. I remember when trips to Chicago would in some way involve some "Bulls excitement" Now, I realize, I am more likely to score than they are. It's been a long time since I have went out dancing though, and I can't wait.
Sunday it's back home...and the kids are coming over to watch...*sniff-sniff* the last...*sniff* NASCAR race of the year. Everything will be decided Sunday, and this is the moment we have all been anticipating since Speed Week. *sigh* The only drama I love is that in this FABULOUS sport.
So, that wraps up the weekend. When I'm bitching next week about being tired, you're more than welcome to direct my attention to the fact that there seems to be no such thing as a "day off" in my method of madness.
QUESTION: Are the Chicago Bulls EVER going to win a fucking game?
