Here at work, flipping through the new IKEA catalog, and mentally squandering my next paycheck...that with the sunshine is making for a beautiful morning. On this Monday, I feel the need to simplify. Wanting to organize the organized life that I lead, and enjoy the simplicities that fill in the gaps between one crisis to the next.
This weekend was lovely. Well, as lovely as drunking can be. Saturday night found us all out on the boat, for what, the weather confirmed, was our last outting on the vessel for the season. The drinking began, then thanks to the ever-volunteered DD Steve, continued once we hit dry land. Sometime after 3 a.m., I wound up at home, snuggled into someone's sweatshirt, and with the cordless phone in my hand. Pretty sure I wanted to drunk and dial Catiedid. Poor girl is going to wake up to my drunkin' voice at some point, either her or whatever number I misdial to try and get to her. *giggle* The price you have to pay to be my friend, I suppose.
Sunday, made the tacos...(which I'm going to create their own food group for), and watched the Colts win and Junior run well in Kansas. Sunday-football and NASCAR...it's become my sanctuary.
This week I'm looking forward to a kinda low-key-drama-free few days. *she says with trepidation* Not tempting fate, just giving you the 4-1-1.
What's happening with you?
