Happy Weekend!
Wow, my last journal entry left much to be desired...seems that even if things are bad, there's always a current of guilt that comes from spreading such sadness to others, especially you good people. So, in an effort to maintain positivity, I must say, I'm doing well, and let me tell you why.
1. Headed to Indy this weekend, for a date with a future telling machine, and a chicky whose beauty is unmeasurable by social standards. Some of the greatest times of my life begin "So, Stace and I were..." It will be great to have her again...errr...I mean, to see her again.
2. Going to a strip club, which I haven't been to in a while. I don't care what anyone says, girls always have more fun at these clubs, and if you don't know why, then go and find out for yourselves...
3. Staying downtown in a sweet hotel suite, with an inspiring hot-tub. (old school goodness).
4. A fabulous "package" on it's way.
5. That daily renewed sense of understanding a piece of my heart. Beyond words and explanation, just existing.
6. That verbal reunion that's been long overdue with a beautiful soul who would kick my ass for saying his name with the word "beautiful soul" publicly. One thing I will never doubt is your incredible spirit, guru.
7. My job, being the boss and kicking ass on a daily basis. (it's my horn and I'll toot it if I wanna)
8. The fact that even in the face of adversity, I can maintain my strength in physicality and creativity in passion.
9. The beautiful creature who doesn't know the meaning of "that's too crazy."
10. Itinerary for a weekend includes: Football (high school, purdue/notre dame, bears, colts), NASCAR (junior winning at talladega), and baseball (this newfound understanding that my counterpart in the mornings is a whole lot easier to deal with when the cubs actually win). And company that doesn't care that my competitive spirit will scream out "fuckers" every 2.3 minutes.
Lots more than 10, but isn't this enough self-indulgence for one day?
Drink it up, kids...perspective is found at the bottom of a bottle...that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
