HAPPY MONDAY!!
What a GREAT weekend! I hope this finds you doing FABULOUS!! Or, FABULICIOUS even!
The weekend was extremely fulfilling on my part, and even at the height of emotional stress, underneath it all, lies happiness. It's amazing the perspective that family can bring to your life.
Saturday it was a whole lot of working. Mixed with a long over due chat with some predominate members of my family. Then late into the night, went out to relax the day away with the cool fall breeze on the lake. Is it weird that I love the smell? It's intoxicating. Didn't take long before the coolness of the night drove us into the sheltered dwellings of our captain. Good friends, fabulous cousin Sam, and an incredible moment with my favorite 4 year old, wrapped up the night quite nicely.
Plans to sleep in on Sunday didn't quite pan out, but did have a relaxing day. Sunday afternoon, went on a "ride" for MDA that our station was promoting. Got to ride on a 2005 Harley Road King...*sigh* fell in love all over again Ended up having a great evening.
And, today...my counterpart in the mornings is FINALLY back from vacation. Yes, the only person on earth who vacations to Fla during Hurricane season. So, things are back to normal at work, with makes me very very happy!
This week, it's hanging low, waiting for the next weekend....Working for the weekends, baby, that's how we do it.
And I have had my coffee this morning, can you tell?
How was YOUR weekend, my sweets?
