Oh, happy day!
What a great weekend! I love that my weekends are filled so many things to be happy about. I find myself unable to quit smiling, and then to head into the week with such a positive attitude makes my job so much easier to do. Life is good. I wonder how long before this begins to annoy people? How long before happiness becomes irritating to those around you?
On Saturday, we went out to a bar for a night of relaxed drinking and conversation with some friends. My cousin Sam has the best group of friends to drink with. However, his cousin Josie apparently sucks at being a DJ...Ironic, isn't it?
We were at a bar and they sent the resident expert to the jukebox to pick out some tunes. I forgot my key audience and played what was berated as "chick music." From a source of entertainment, to a source of ridicule, it turned into the "guess what shitty song she picked next" game. John Mayer was the deal breaker and we moved on to other surroundings. They are lucky I can sling them back just as easily as take them. It was like the "Witty Olympics" and I'm happy to say I held my own.
This week is going to be NUTS...but I'm smiling when I say that...so it's all good...OH, and coming soon to the a radio near you...listen for the new song:
Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional it kicks ASS!

I "feel" your smile -- even so many, many miles away! Its "megawattage" is warming me from head to toe!
