Well, I choose this subject to write a blog because it seemed to be made for me due to the latest events in my life.
I'm becoming a vegetarian and its been really hard to me. I live in Argentina, a country which is famous for its meat. Our culture is to eat meat in every food of the day, at luch, dinner, even as a snack with a beer at the afternoon.
My hole family makes jokes of me when i told them i made the desicion to become vegetarian.
I think its really important to the environment do small things, all people in the planet doing something small could have great changes.
At the beginning , my boyfriend and i started to use vegan soaps and shampoos... Over time we began to use vegan toothpaste and toothbrushes. Not using plastic can make big changes, i really recommend it, because the ways to replace it are many and everyone are cheap.
When i decided to be vegetarian, i was so afraid to not be able to do it. At the sixth day, i was in the shower and i couldn't be able to think in other thing that wasn't a barbecue. The hole idea planted in my head and put me in a bad mood all day. Then The thoughts started, "I'm really gonna make it?", "Is this really gonna make a difference?" "Me? Joseline, from Argentina is going to change the word just for not eating meat?"
That was when the Amazona's Alert go out in the social media. And all the information come to me as a message, stop eating meat was going to be a change, as a small at it seems. Even the ONU ask to the world to become aware of what the meat and processed meat industry affects the world, and to our heath. I'm not saying STOP EATING AT ALL. Here we are talking about small changes. If you eat meat every day, start to eat day in between. Or just 4 times a week. Stop using plastic bags and bring your own bag to the market. Every little thing can be really useful to the word.
Today, I can say I am really proud of me, I haven't been eating meat for a month, and I already feel different, healthier.
I couldn't do this without my boyfriend and @lolilove420 's help, they were very supportive with me and give me cheers all the time.
Now you! Go on the internet, go into Netflix, there are a lot of documentaries you can use to change your head, and help the world!
