So let's start by writing about how glad I am that I am finally fullfilling some of my promises, davisdallas got my cd's today and hopefully no later than this weekend Jo and Polonovia will get their cd's. Next week there will more cd's send, so all you out there I told I was going to send them something will hopefully get them, but I will keep them posted.
A day for good, or I might say great discoveries!! A great magazine named "Gatopardo", like the movie of the same name, sort of like a hybrid between "Vanity Fair" and "Premiere", but without the frivolity or the interviews with airhead celebrities (why does the latest Premiere has an article about "House of wax"?). It has GREAT writers writing for them, including Ernesto Sabato (which is a LEGEND!), Jorge Volpi (anyone who has not read "En busca de Klingsor" should do it NOW!), Antonio Fuguet (the best writer I have discovered this year, and I am always on the hunt!), Carlos Fuentes (another legend), etc. In fact, on the issue of the magazine I read today there was an article by Fuguet about a chance meeting with writer and script writer Richard Price on a bookstore in NYC. WOW! I fell in love with Fuguet all over again, he has such great insights about the relationship between books and readers, what books can mean and become for people and why there is a very particular love that can happen between a writer and a reader when an especific written piece helps you, somehow. Everyone, try looking for "Tinta Roja", by Antonio Fuguet, do yourself that favor!!!!
(by the way, for those you who are not in the KNOW, Richard Price wrote "Clockers", "The Wanderers" and scrpits like the one for "The color of money" and others, also, recently he has been involved with the great tv show for HBO called "The Wire")
I think this will be all for today, but I want to add that I discovered yesterday a very sexy sg member named Fallen, very very hot pics!! bye to you all!
