Newest update (a continuation of the last one)
Last week was a drag, because of work...fuck work!! But besides that everything else was okay. The following are some things things I want to write down:
1. My dear Inocencia is single again, she broke up with her boyfriend on friday morning. I think she is at peace, but sad because she is still in love with him. She broke up with him because of basically two things: she wants a partner for life and he stills wants a girlfriend, and also because he can be a very egoist and insensitive person. I just hope she finds someone who is great and loves her and makes her happy...
2. My newest books, borrowed and bought, are the following: "The fortress of solitude" by Jonathan Lethem, "Yo soy el Diego" by Diego Maradona, "The soccer war" by Ryszard Kapuscinski (Elga gave it to me as a birthday gift
), "Clemente" by David Maraniss, "The road" by Cormac McCarthy, "Love, poverty and war" by Christopher Hitchens, "El queso y los gusanos" by Carlos Ginzburg, "Babe" by Robert W. Creamer, "The gunpowder plot: terror and faith in 1605" by Antonia Fraser and "Sex, drugs and cocoa puffs" by Chuck Klosterman.
3. I will not go into the new bunch of new music I got but my favs right now are "El palacio de las flores" by Andres Calamaro, "Animalitos" by Hidrogenesse, "Hagalo usted mismo" by Los Tres, "Do you still feel the same way" by Tommy Young and "Desaparezca aqui" by Nacho Vegas.
4. I had a nice weekend, if you take saturday out of the picture (I worked...enough said), on friday I went out with Inocencia, Racel and Ana to see a great spanish film titled "Inconsciente" and afterwards we met up at a lovely place to hang out, drink coffee, eat or just have a ice cream named Piu Bello. There we also were joined by another good friend, Yara, and we had a kick ass time. Then today my very dear Keren called me at noon to go to see a movie and hang, so we went out to eat and then saw "The golden door", a great, beatiful movie about the journey of a poor italian family from the countryside to the United States in order to improve their life. I strongly recommend this movie to people interested in the inmigrant's experience.
I will end this now because I am tired, but more will be written tomorrow or later in the week, tons of love to all

Have you read the confederacy of dunces? hardest book i've read in a long, long time. I'm less than halfway through right now.
