Mid week update:
I have a lot to write down but first I want to keep record of how I am feeling these days. I hate my current job and I am hopeful, but not too hopeful of getting a new one. Also I am getting a year older and I hate it, plus my dad's situation is better but that much...On the bright side I have my friends that love me, including the newest one, Keren, who is very close to me these days, we speak each and every day, some days more than once and we keep knowing more about each other, yesterday we hung out all day and it was great, just talking and walking and drinking coffee... Also, I love this woman
No sports in this entry, I seem to write about them too much these days and not enough about other stuff which I care deeply too.
1. I read three books since the last journal entry: two books by Henning Mankell: "Los perros de Riga" and "La leona blanca" and both were very very good!!! I am now not the only one hooked on his books, because Elga's mum, Vilma, is a fan now, since I gave her three of his books to check out and now she cannot get enough, and I am glad! But I am taking a break from him to try new authors, althought I will return to him soon, yeah!
The other book I read is a futbol book, "Breve historia de "La Academia" by German Domingo, a small book that tells the history of the Argentinian futbol club Racing de Avellaneda, and I loved it!!!! I did not knew, for example, that they won the World Club Cup on 1966 beating Celtic FC on the final.
2. I am currently reading "Slaughterhouse five" by Kurt Vonnegutt for a book reeading club from this site, the "Berlin Noir" collection of novels by Phillipp Kerr and the Borges biography, which is huge and will take some time for me to finish.
3. I have a few new books, including three futbol books about Argentinian futbol, given to me as gifts by my dear friend Ana, who was visiting that beautiful country a few weeks ago. Also, I bought a David Halberstam book, "Summer of '49" to check what the fuss about him is all about, it helps that I love sportswriting, so I will write about how I like it soon.
4. There is a new Michael Chabon novel out, but my local Borders store did not have it when I went to buy it, hopefully they will have it soon, because I love his books!!!
Now, about music, here are some thoughts:
1. I am loving a few bands, including the Pipettes, Explosions in the sky, Aurora y la academia, The Winnerys and others.
2. Today two eagerly awaited albums were released: the new Cultura Profetica live tribute to Bob Marley and the new Dinosaur Jr. studio album, featuring Lou Barlow and J Mascis working together again after being on bad terms for years. Also, recently a lot of good stuff has been released: new stuff by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (live stuff and the Grinderman side project), the Artic Monkeys, Bright Eyes, Of Montreal, Bjork, Moenia, Miguel Bose, Calle 13 (a great album, better than the first one, the most obscene and smart hip hop album I have heard in years!!!), la Mala Rodriguez, Modest Mouse, Explosions in the sky, etc.
I will stop here, but hopefully I will write more in a few days, hopefully celebrating about my new job, we shall see, I wish you all a great week

Hooray indeed!
Milan.
Santos, I think. Hard to say _ Boca is very good but they can fall apart, though I like them a great deal, too.
No, not to be confused with the Ultimate Marvel line - this is a new book, five issues old. The reviews were positive, so check it out, I guess!
Thanks! How is PR? And how is your Dad?
I totally don't think Snape is evil. I think either Dumbledore is still alive and was prepared with some statis thingie prior to what happened or he felt he could do more from the "other side" and that he was aware of it with snape and it caused Snape huge distress to do what he did. Also Snape probably interceeded because if he hadn't anyone else would have caused "true death" or something along those lines.
I think that it's the one issue Harry's been harping on from book 1. That snape is evil. But he's not really. And that it's probably the last lesson Harry can learn. "You aren't always right" to give him some sense of humility or something. And maybe Snape will end up dying/martyring himself to save Harry which would give it a surprise twist type ending.
I'm such a harry potter nerd
