Sunday afternoon entry:
1. While I am beginning this entry, the Arsenal is playing the Manchester United, and my heart is with the Gunners, they should be inspired by the win they got midweek in the Champions, althought Henry is not playing
2. I got more new music!! The latest mix cd by Dan the Automator, which is all about basketball and features great Mc's like members from Dilated Peoples and Ghostface Killa
3. I am way sore from running, worked out like a motherfucker, because I feel the Sadness coming...I hope the week turns out better than this weekend...hopefully I will be able to watch some dvd's and also to the cinema...by the way, I got the Fullmetal Alquemist movie on dvd, yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Some of my short term goals include finishing all the Lemony Snickets books before the last volume is released on the second week of october and also the read the first "Capitan Alatriste" novel before the first movie is released in my country. (for those not in the now the "Capitan Alatriste" are some of the most read series of novels in the spanish-speaking world, and their authoer, Arturo Perez-Reverte, is probably the most read author of fiction in all of Latin America and Spain)(in the movie, the captain Alatriste is played by Viggo "Aragorn" Mortensen, and the whole movies is in spanish, which he speaks very well because he lived for a while in Argentina)
5. Music I am currently in love with include the last two Sufjan Stevens albums, the "Rogue gallery..." compilation, the Redwalls "De nova" album, the latest Tego Calderon album, the latest Amigos Invisibles, the Violadores del Verso live album ("Bombo clap"), the latest Neil Diamond and also his recent "Essential" compilation, the Andres Calamaro "Tinta Roja" album, among many others...I want to listen to the latest Bob Dylan album and also want to own his "Time out of mind" album. (his latest interview on the Rolling Stone magazine is amazing, I loved it!!!!)
6. I will probably not be online much this week at night, but everyone who wants to reach me can leave me a comment, write me a message and/or email, call me...Tons of love to all, have a kick-ass week, chao
