Hello and welcome to the weekend edition of my journal!!
1. Wednesday was great!!! Effing great!!! I was listening to U2 in the morning and when "Stay (faraway so close)" came on my Ipod I remembered my dear Sirenia which I missed terribly because of her schedule and the fucking geography (she lives in Humacao, which is far from Levittown) has made it hard for us to get together, in fact, I still have her Xmas gift at home, even thought it is the first one I bought . Anyway, well I called her and left her a message that I was getting out of work early (at three PM) and hanging out with Inocencia. After I left with Inocencia to her home we got a call from Sirenia telling us that she might be able to get together with us after 6 PM and she did!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! She is very very dear to me and I miss her, we used to see each other every day during our college years. We hung out at Plaza Las Americas for the longest time, between Borders and Hot Topics and it ruled!! I also bought the new Antonio Fuguet book, a short stories collection, which made me very happy!!! and also a new "Hellblazer" collection from Mike Carey and Marcello Frusin. John Constantine is someone you hate to love.
2. On friday I got to buy the latest "FullMetal Alchemist" dvd and when to Inocencia's house to watch it and it was amazing, sad and beautiful. Althought it is very hard because those dvd's always end in a cliffhanger and you have two months for the next one
3. New music: a "Cowboy Bebop" remix album, a Shane McGowan and the popes album, the live Ismael Serrano album and the US version of the Arctic Monkeys album, all fucking great music for the whole family!
4. I stopped reading Eloy Urroz's "Las Remoras" because it did not grip me, and started reading "American Pastoral" by Phillip Roth and so far I love it, very fucking goo writing, good characters, I will let you know how I like it when I finish it.
5. This week looks like it will be a great one if the weather behaves. I have two tickets for all the games from the World Baseball tournament and I will attend a few of those including the inaguration game on the seventh of march. The Dominican Republic will play, as Cuba and Puerto Rico, of course!!! I hope a team from the Caribbean wins, and even more I wsh our team wins, but if not us then maybe Cuba or the Dominicans!!!

and i dont live in a secluded place, it's very suburban. but i refuse to work in food service, that's mostly what's around here. i did bartending school, but there's only one resturant near here that serves alcohol.
i would kill to work in an office as a secretary or something. right now a desk job is my dream, but there are none to be had that are close enough for me to walk or ride a bike.
