This weekend was very odd, like a rollercoaster, definitely things have changed, I will write a proper entry tomorrow, as I have a few days off...I will go to bed in a bit, I am tired from work and watvhing tons of "Lost", still, I hope everyone else's weekend was better than mine...

tonight we are listening to whitesnake........good old 70s/80s rock on good old vinyl. he doesn't listen to his music much, so it surprised me when he put it on. only thing is, each track that has come on, he's talked about it and i've been struggling to hear it. it's great stuff, but my god, vinyl sounds so awful compared to cds. really tinny, i think i'd like to hear it on cd to appreciate it better. he won't part with his vinyl though, i think he will take it to the grave with him.
we are a tottenham hotspur house, hubbys granparents came from that area of london so its a family thing. my son hasn't been to see them play though, it's so expensive but hopefully he'll get the chance one day.

i have to confess that i have befriended a 15 year old girl from costa rica and a 16 year old girl from australia. they call me mummy and come to me with their problems. i guess i don't get much from the friendships except to know what is going on in the mind of a teenager which will help when my own children hit there teens any day now.
hubby introduced me to whitesnake and i was a big fan at one point. listening to their stuff all the time. 'is this love' was our wedding song and i had a big thing for david coverdale for a while. but kids came along and i found very little time to listen to music for a long while. ian paice comes from my town and he still has family living in the area, that's as close to celebrity as i get. it was good listening to their songs the other night and more has been played since. brings back fond memories of the past.
over here it's about $50 to $60 to see a premiership team play, then there's the train journey down to london to see spurs. thats why they haven't been.

oh wao mecano...que tiempos aquellos...hoy dia they annoy me a little bit....los vi cuando fueron a pr la primera vez...de hecho yo trabaja en la gran discoteca en aquellos tiempos, despues de haber vivvido en espaa un tiempo...le dije a los dueos que pidieran todos los tapes que pudieran y cds que se iban a "pegar"cabronamente..me dijeron que estaba loco..que eso jamas..y luego se pegaron...y me preguntaron que como yo sabia..les dije yo solo se...bueno pues que me ascendieron y nunca mas me cuestionaron...lo mismo paso con 440...bitches..
a mi esposa le encanta..de vez en cuando toca mis cds..todavia los tengo....
pq la musica en espaol aqui no se pega..pq la gente es literalmente estupida...piensan que pq no es en fucking ingles no es buena..aunque esta cambiando un poco..a veces en concierto en espaol como los cadillacs, cerati, robi...se meten unos cuantos gringos...que conocen un poco.....
