The little sister is 18 as of yesterday.

It didn't hit me before the way it's hitting me now - how weird it is that she's 18. I mean..I was just 18! (I know, I'm turning 23 this year actually, but it feeeeeels like I'm still 18. Funny, I'm the one who still feels younger than that, and my older sister is freaking out, thinking she's all fogey-ish.) So looking back, I remember all the good and bad things I've done before and during my 18th year, and I just want to protect her from all the scary things that come with growing out of your teens.
The stranger thing is, SG (or porn in general) is not one of those scary things that I feel I need to protect her from. Besides, I have several friends on here that have SG member siblings, too.
Again with the not making sense.
Anyway, I didn't know she and her friend were driving out here to see me, until yesterday morning. And even then it was just a consideration. Now she's actually on her way. Since I'm supposed to go out with the SGLA kids to see Sin City, I won't be able to take them with me, but I'll find something for them to do. She's only here til Saturday, but I'm glad I get to see her again.
So now my mom and I can finally get her the piercings she's wanted but couldn't ever get (because my dad's a scary [read: violent] little Asian man that won't hesitate to set us straight. Yes, us, not just her. I may not live in his house anymore, but he has no problem rectifying the situation on any of his daughters).
