Whenever I'm in our office's restroom, I hear what I think sounds like someone's ankle popping, or some other body joint cracking. If I hear it, I peek down into the next couple of stalls to see if they're occupied, but nobody's in there. Sometimes I feel like saying, "...hello?"
Occasionally my older sister or my girlfriend will visit me at work, so I mentioned it to them. They listen for it, too. My girlfriend said she heard it once, but my older sister isn't sure. My little sister, who happens to work for the company that leases our office space, sometimes comes up to my floor for lunch, and I told her about it. It doesn't happen when anyone else (that I know of?) is in there with me. Like this morning, another woman came in and nothing happened, but as soon as she left, I heard the pop sound.
Interesting. I wonder if it's some old lady that died on the can or something. What a way to go.
