I have been working on a charity even that happens here in February. It is the Third annual Dancers for Cancer.
Last year I was responsible for finding a charity that would accept the donation, it proved to be difficult as a number of reputable foundations refused to take the money or would only take it if given anonymously.
This year the woman who started Dancers for Cancer three years ago to honor her friend who has since passed, wrote a beautiful letter to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. They graciously agreed to accept the money raised at the event.
