One could tear the republicans apart all day but I'll just say that their Country First slogan is extremely disingenous and its popularity reflects very negatively on american intelligence. I guess you could say that the war on terror has been successful, there have been no terrorist attacks since 9/11 and it has only cost us 4000 american lives, 750 billion dollars, and any any moral positon we might ever have had to condemn something like the chinese occupation of tibet. I used to really respect Senator John McCain. I supported and voted for him in the 2000 primary. But lately I am downright disgusted by the things he and his campaign have been saying. I seem to recall that he stated "I will not take the low road to the highest office in the land.". So much for that.
