Two days at the new job so far, and I'm feeling confident in my decision. I'm still just riding along with the current drivers -- getting an idea on how the job is done. But what I've seen so far looks like a piece of cake compared to what I've been doing both for Frito-Lay over the last few weeks and my over-the-road work for the last few years.
There's really something to be said for a job with hours regular enough to let you have "a life". Still working on that life part, but at least I'll now have the time.
Got myself >>a new toy<< on the way. Actually I expect it to be useful at work now that I'll be making lots of delivery stops. It's never something I felt was necessary when I was doing long-haul work.
I'm watching "Dark City". It's interesting.

My boyfriend has a TomTom, they're the greatest thing ever. He has Mr. T giving him directions, it's hilarious.
