I make better guacamole than anywhere else I have ever tried it from. Seriously. Eli's Kickin' Guac may not be world famous, but it deserves to be. That is all assuming I have top-quality ingredients to work with at the time. I've actually tossed the final product right out more than once in the past when I was forced to use avocados of questionable perfection. Tonight's result is about an 8 on my own personal scale. Which is still better than anything stores or restaurants offer, trust me.
So I went to my nephew's 2nd birthday party today. I didn't really have any prior preparation because I only learned about it after shutting the truck down on Friday. Rather than bring a present, I gave a hundred dollar bill in a birthday card. Now... before you freak out let me explain. YES, I agree that cash, generally, isn't an appropriate birthday gift for little kids. And YES, I agree that $100 is really an inappropriately high amount of money to be offering a 2 year old nephew as a gift.
But...
My sister is a stay-at-home mom of 3. They've been having a very difficult time (financially) lately. Sold their last house at a loss. Got a new (much smaller) one, but are still really upside-down. She makes what she gets from her hubby stretch pretty far, but I know she could really use a bit extra. So the card said the cash was for nephew AND mommy. So I think that's okay after all.
I have a shit-load of things to do tomorrow, many of which are simply to get ready for going back to work on Tuesday morning. My ankle feels significantly better. Not perfect, but "good enough". I have shopping to do, and still that computer repair for one of my other sisters. And laundry.
I dusted off my mountain bike today. After a few years in storage, it is still in excellent condition. I can't remember where I left my helmet and clipless shoes... I need to find those before I do any serious riding. Or replace them if I can't find them. But the quick test-ride around the block felt great. Gary Fisher makes a good machine.
So anyhow I'm sure you're wishing to sample the aforementioned guacamole. Good news! Sexy ladies are always welcome to sample my cooking. Bring drinks. And I'm getting low on tortilla chips.

Shooting and photoshoping takes a lot of hours so I guess it's not worth the effort unless you have a great idea for a set.
I'm gonna try to sell some more prints instead
