Got a $50 tip from a shipper in Memphis yesterday. I have no shame whatsoever about taking someone's money when they offer it. I feel underpaid for what I do anyhow... and being tipped is an extremely rare occurrence. Made a big difference in how I felt about the trip, however.

I had a similar experience with a fancy pancy doctor whose daughter had a wedding reception that I was in charge of. He threw me a ganster roll of money and told me to split it amongst my workers then gave me a huge tip on top of that!
Makes you feel good when people tip you and let you know you are doing a good job!
