Well my company has declared me "driver of the month" for January. I guess I must be pretty good at my job. Second time I've had that honor in two years, in fact. I wish I got something for it more substantial than a cheesy $50 savings bond however. Meh.

One very minor advantage of working for the huge compnies is that you have a makedly better shot at winning a million bucks than the general public does, one in severl thousand versus one in several million.
In school it was explained to me that companies are all over the palce in terms of how much they offer their o/o's in addition to rate per mile. Fuel surcharges, accountants, repair discounts and so forth. Swift drivers pay 1.30 a gallon for their diesel wherever they get it, and your'e eligible to become an o/o after 8 mos with the company. and that's what I know about swift.
Whatever, just have to gather all the info I can.
