I cut my finger just about to the bone today. Yeah, that hurts. And it was completely avoidable too, except that I was being impatient and ignoring my own good common sense. Not to mention experience from previous but much more minor similar injuries.
It could be worse though... said finger is on the left hand (I'm right-handed). It's cut on the underside (palm side) of the knuckle of my middle finger and is cut about 1/3 of the way around. At least it isn't falling off. I'm sure it would be prudent to get a few stitches but it is yet another one of those things that is incredibly inconvenient when you essentially live in a tractor-trailer. So I am hoping that a bit of hydrogen peroxide, gauss, and anti-bacterial cream will be sufficient help for the healing process. Next time I get to a Wal-Mart I should probably buy a decent first aid kit to have in the truck. This morning I was able to use supplies they had at the business I was making the delivery to.
I've learned my lesson though. I'll never be too lazy to walk an extra 100 feet for a pair of pliars again. Hands are not pliars.
EDITED to add: I've been checking out a bunch of "Star Wars" themed tattoos online. Like all tattoos, there are some great ones (accurately drawn, fine lines) and some awful ones (cartoonishly "freehanded", blurry lines, etc). Just like any tattoo really. But it would be horrible to have one that I felt was poorly done. I'd need to find talent. A -good- examples:

Have you seen the tattoo from the Star Wars x-mas special? It's a whole wookiee family, complete with the female wearing an apron. I've also seen a couple with the M&Ms dressed up as various characters.
