Don't you hate it when you think of something incredibly clever to blog about while you're driving or laying in bed or some other activity without easy and immediate access to your computer... and then by the time you sit down to do it, you've completely forgotten what you were going to say.
Yeah.
So believe me, this began as a fascinating entry. Really!
As a consolation prize, here is a tidbit. Some of my pictures show me with hair. In fact, ever since I was a Marine I have always had very little hair. For a long time I maintained a regulation "high and tight" then eventually got into the habit of just shaving my head since it was the only haircut I could easily give to myself. Then a couple of years ago I decided to try an experiment. I've really NEVER had "long" hair. I decided not to cut it for a full year and see what the result was. I met Sophie during that time so all of those pictures show me with hair... even while wearing the cap you can still tell.
Anyhow, I got pretty bored with that. It just made me look like a stereotypical truck driver. Now... I take pride in what I do. Sure I'm just a blue-collared trucker. But the hair made me feel like a scrub. After my year was up, I cut it all off again. I now maintain a nice bald head once more... usually giving it a touch-up a couple times a week with the clippers or even the electric shaver. I'll take a picture without the Sox cap one of these days...
Yeah.

I see where you're coming from with the "luxury" of calling in sick, but I also would see your job as a bit of a "luxury" since you don't have a boss breathing down your neck to constantly make sales...and I'm quite serious, my boss comes around constantly to check on my sales. Talk about pressure. And yeah, sure you're always on the road, but you get to see so much, and you have so much time to think (or sing along with the radio).
