I have a long day of driving tomorrow, which is the price I am paying for knocking off a bit early today. But... I'll take a long shower in my preferred truck stop chain (Flying J). Had a good meal (good being a relative term when you're talking about truck stop food), got a good parking spot (meaning no one can block me in by being a dumbass, and I was able to park "backwards" hopefully giving myself some peace and quiet if the trucks next to me decide to run their engines all night long).
Hmm, that's an awful lot of stipulation on a good day. But such is life on the road.
So tomorrow there'll be more or less 11 hours worth of driving to get me from where I'm at (south of Columbus, Ohio) to where I'm going (Waterbury, CT). Then Friday morning the company will either send me home for the weekend or keep me going. I'd prefer the former but in all honesty I don't really care all that much. Working would (obviously) benefit my bank account more. I've been getting SLIGHTLY lower mileage than what I'm used to as a company driver lately and I haven't been seeing any thousand-dollar paychecks. I'm talking about after taxes and everything. I'm grossing over a grand every week so I suppose I shouldn't bitch about it TOO much. I'm just anxious to see all my credit card balances back to zero. The good news is I paid the first one down already, but that isn't exactly anything to brag about on a $600 card. The others are like $5000 limits so will take a bit more time. Early in 2005 I was completely debt free. I want that awesome feeling again. I figure it'll take 4 months or so.
Why is my hard drive going crazy when I'm not doing anything? How annoying.

I'm in no hurry to get the LP i guess. I just need to have it in time to start practicing behind the wheel.
