The best place in America to get awesome Mexican food is in the border towns. For example, in Laredo you can find a good number of beat-up old jallopy Winnebagos hanging around curbside in the industrial parks. Frequently surrounded by a few tractor-trailers and cars. These old RVs serve as kitchens for some fantastic food. Yes that's right... buying and eating food from a shitty old Winnebago that looks like it should be in the junk yard.
Delicious. Best tacos ever. It's always on my to-do list when I make a delivery down that way.
Tonight I'm in Waco, TX. No sign of any lingering branch Davidians or black FBI helicopters. Yeah, I'm years too late for that party but I still always think about it as I'm passing through here. Going up I-35 tomorrow through Oklahoma then across the Kansas turnpike to Topeka. From there it's likely they'll start heading me home towards Providence. Just as well because I'm running out of clean laundry and I find it annoying to wash my clothes at the truck stops.
I love working in the south west. I need to move here. I've been having good days and I'm in a decent mood.

I believe I did look into those companies you mentioned a ways back. If I recall correctly I mostly found that their training facilities are very far away. Good idea though.
