I realize that a lot of my blogs are whiny, but I had to share this. So, I moved into this room that I'm renting in DC, and I ordered a bed and mattresses through the Army PX. I get the headboard set...no bed rack, as in nothing to hold the bed together. No problem, I'll pick one up someplace.
But...the mattresses are another story. The PX contracts it to Sealy directly, who in turn has a local delivery service actually drop it off. After playing phone tag for a week and trying to get them to deliver after I get off of work (they only deliver 8-1), I tell them to bring it first thing Monday morning. Monday comes along, and I'm waiting...at noon I call for an ETA; they tell me they didn't get my message. So, I arrange for it to be dropped off first thing Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around, and I call again at 930; the girl put in the wrong date, so instead of "tomorrow" meaning Tuesday, it must have meant Thursday in her head. I've now lost a day and a half of work, and yet ANOTHER two days sleeping on an old Army cot...
Ugh.
