I had a lovely day today.
It was sunny and warm in San Francisco today. My girlfriend and I rode our bikes down to go see the mission wall dancers (http://www.flyawayproductions.com/events.html) it was so cool. Basically they created this huge mural on the side of a building and danced on the wall, suspended from the roof with harnesses. Its really hard to explain, but trust me it was cool.
Then we headed to the Atlas Cafe and had a few beers and a yummy vegan pizza with roasted beets, yams, and tofu. I realized there that I find women with Titanium powerbooks irresistible. A woman at the next table was doing some web design work and I couldn't stop staring at her. Was it her or her computer? I 'm the biggest geek in the world. I sound like one of those mac commercials. My girlfriend thought that was really funny.
Finally we rode to Good Vibrations and picked up some toys. (hee-hee).
Best of all was seeing all the folks out enjoying a lovely day.
I am beginning to realize that my desktop computer is getting old. its only a 400 MHz G4 and some of my more complex musical productions are starting to tax it. Especially when I layer lots of samples and delays. Its so hard to face the obsolesce of computers some times, *sigh* I think I'm going to wait to see what mac has up its sleeves in terms of new processors. The whole dual-processor thing seems to be a temporary stop-gap solution. Oh yeah, and I have to stop being poor first too.

no, actually it WAS fenton's! fenton's creamery. i just called it an 'ice creamery' for the benefit of those people here who don't know what the fuck i'm talking about. that, and it was a very, very bad experience working there- besides the jukebox! ugh- very bad memories.
