So I've thought about possible blogging subjects, something to talk about when I feel like it. The only things I would normally talk about would be shameless self-promotion for my band, and movies.
Well I just saw 300: Rise of an Empire.
Oh. My. Days.
The storyline was good, killer soundtrack, decent use of 3D. Although I'm a huge fan of the first one, the blood in this one seemed too fake and over-the-top. The visuals were amazing, and featured gratuitous 3D boobies. The battle scenes are intense! The fight choreography is extremely well-done. This is one movie I'll definitely be picking up on 3D bluray when it comes out. Overall I'll give 300: rise of an empire 4.5/5 stars. My rating: must-see in theatres, although it's probably not for most people.
