I uploaded a bunch of pics to My Pets section. If you want to see kitty-cat beauty and craziness, please check them out. (Please ignore the ugly dog behind the curtain...lol.)
Brian and I took my truck in to have the air leak in one of the wheels fixed. That was done and that's great, but the guys asked if I wanted an estimate of stuff they found while inspecting the truck that needs to be fixed. I said "sure". 25 minutes later, I find out that it will take $1700 to fix the basics. For once, I believe the mechanics because the truck has needed service for a while now. I bought it new in 1993 and it only has 47,000 miles on it. Yes, I have no life and travel nowhere. I think it's in great shape for only having the tires replaced once and only having oil change type stuff done - ever! So, the tire is fine, but now I need to find an extra $1700 to make it a happy truck. Side note: I had crazy visions the other night while trying to fall asleep that I "pimped my ride". The truck was painted with blue glitter paint with purple and orange flames. Woo hoo! I can only dare to dream.
After the truck thing, Brian and I went to Sushi Masa, our favorite sushi place. The food is grand and the atmophere just gorgeous. Brian had some warm sake and went to bed early, leaving me to my usual insomnia sooner than usual. I shouldn't have had that coffee at dinner! I know better than that. Grr.
It has been decided that Brian and I are going to visit his friends in Phoenix for the Christmas weekend. I look forward to seeing them. They are super cool artistic musical type people. I hope my social anxiety doesn't kick my ass. Oh, and I was able to get First Class seats!!! They cost a tiny bit more than Coach (which sucks ass), so I went for it. I can't wait to enjoy the roominess which is First Class seating. Ahhh...
I'm going to go lurking around my groups and the boards now.
Die, insomnia....DIE!!!!!!
