So, now that our credit cards are mostly taken care of (due to a large loan from a relative), I started working on a doable budget. Um, there is no doable as things are now. That is crappy.
SoI called a doggy daycare place that I found on Craigslist and guess what? They are still hiring. I bagged an interview, but the lady wasnt there when I showed up. Um, very professional. I got a hold of her at a later time to reschedule the interview, but she didnt have a pen so she couldnt write anything down. Umokay. So, I can already tell I will hate working with a bunch of idiots if I get the job, BUT I need an extra income and how can working with cute doggies all day be bad?
I know that I need to bring in some steady income, even if it is part-time and doesnt pay much. Since I feel off about my phone work right now (again), I figured that I better get off my ass and really do something productive. How stressful can it be playing with doggies all day? I hope my tattoos dont put off the hiring lady. I am way past being a rebel for rebelliousness sake. I just like art on my body. Oh, and the place has pawcams so nervous owners can watch their dogs online while they are at work. How cute (and slightly obsessive) is that? I have to make sure that I dont pick my nose or adjust my underwear in eyesight of the cams. LOL.
I called her again yesterday and got another interview for this morning at 11am. I swear, some people. I showed up on time and she wasnt there again. This time, she was out doing errands. She was 15 mins late. Grr. Not a great track record so far. I had an interview with her, sort of. It took her 10 mins to figure out how to print the application for me. She basically yelled questions to me from the other room. Um The job itself sounds okay, but do I want to work for someone so disorganized/irresponsible? If she is like that with simple things, what would she be like with paychecks?
The one good note is that I got to play with 15 dogs and interview HER employee while I waited.
In the meantime, I have gone back onto the phones. I tend to burn out on it, but then find I miss it. I miss the thrill and the cash. For now, the cash is my main focus, since bills are coming in. *sigh* I have to take a look at those soon and make sure everything is paid up.
I need a leprechaun with a pot o gold, or a winning lottery ticket, or a place to hold a blow-out garage sale since I have 5 big boxes of stuff I want to sell. *crosses fingers for all of the above*
