i'm sad now,
i requested to make a group...
and it so got declined.
there can be a gay girls only group,
but i guess a gay boys only group,
is just inappropriate.
whatever i guess...
not a lot i can do about it.

Do not feel too bad or discouraged regarding your group. I had a topic politely rejected in a group. I think they would prefer we are on the site a little longer and established more in the community. Unless it is a dictatorship among a few elitists for control of the groups, which I doubt very much since the basis of this site, in my opinion, is to promote a more understanding, diverse world. And I do not see how that would be possible in a dictatorship.
Try again sometime in the future. Perhaps you will have better results.
sads that the group was rejected, that is genuinely odd. but then again i tried to get one for an atkins diet support group (if support is the right word?) when i was on the site before, and that got rejected - yet i REALLY want to talk with other sensible normal atkins dieters about meals and preparation etc - what i mean is, it's not a frivolous silly group, it would be really helpful, same with yours. both are examples of wanting community because it's hard to find it all the time otherwise, and i think that should be the ideal basis for a group!
oh well...
winter is always quite harsh, humans were made to hibernate during it which is why the lack of sunshine gets us down on a biological level.
but it is quite nice to curl up inside with a feelgood movie, hot chocolate with marshmallows (ok so for me it would be atkins-friendly rooibos tea or something!) and a snuggly blanket and enjoy the fact that your not outside! it makes heat seem so much sweeter...
