Today I came to talk a little about how I feel about some things ...
It is very sad indeed that in the middle of 2020, we still have to argue and fight for our rights and our place in the world, just as we talk about authenticity, freedom of expression, whether or not alternatives.
I am overall happy to be on a site where there are no beauty standards even though many people say they have a preference, that pluszisses are not pinks, black women are not pinks, there is a chance that they will all be bought, pink and it all depends of your job. But we have very few black women on the site and it's not SG's fault or black women who are not on the site even feeling this desire, it's the system that sets rules and limitations for our wants and desires, and we end up limiting ourselves and Not going after our dreams.
I am here today because I was encouraged and supported by a man, my boyfriend and he was very judged and criticized of why letting his wife expose so much that he was crazy and today I thank this crazy for encouraging me in my desires and madness .
With each passing day I feel a mixture of feelings, sometimes I feel super good and beautiful, sometimes I don't even want to see my reflection, but it doesn't mean it's society's fault, today I can say that I'm tall enough to know what I am, who I am and how I feel about it.
So my message here today is: encourage people, regardless of language, race or color, give hope and wings to dreams and don't give up, a very recent example, the new miss universe 2019 to Zozibini Tunzi, she fought and got her space and thanks to her many other black women feel represented or encouraged to follow their dreams.
Mine is this being here!
Our chance will still come! I already feel victorious to be here today and you, what are you proud of?
