did the whirlwind '3 shows in 1 night ' trip: Jello Biafra spoke on campus, and was his usual witty, acerbic, politically informed self; his story of his legal hassles with his former bandmates left a bad taste in my mouth-oh, and don't trust the media. then me and co-workers went to see End (laptop dj, was decent but the crowd seemed restless), Melt-Banana (insane japanese noise-core, highly entertaining) and Fantomas (crazed, scary noisescapes and manic outbursts of sound-i think a lot of the crowd wanted more groove oriented material): this was a very stimulating show-and why does the tallest guy in the place always manages to stand right in front of me when the going gets good? then high tailed it to the Boulder Theatre to catch some really good drum and bass from LTJ Bukem and MC Conrad: such a contrast from the Fantomas show, with everyone nodding and dancing to some beautiful tunes-took a really slow bike ride home and boy am I beat - thank god work is mellow......
