1. I delayed the start of a new job telling them that I was going out of town for the 4th of July when really I was following Pearl Jam around the Midwest.
2. I've called in sick so I could go to a Weezer concert.
3. I called in sick September 8, 1998 because I wanted to watch Mark McGwire hit #62.
4. I was at Busch Stadium on September 7, 1998 when McGwire hit number 61 in 1998.
5. I played guitar, poorly, at a basement gig with some friends of mine. I also sang a Green Day song, and forgot the words in the middle. It was our only show.
6. I had dinner with Chuck Berry.
7, Chuck Berry hit on my date, but he posed it as a compliment to me. I took it as such.
8. Ender's Game is probably my favorite book. Well, that or Baseball Prospectus.
9. I am a huge Cardinals fan. I bleed red. This is true, I won't lie to you like a Dodgers fan would.
10. In 2001 when the Cardinals sent down Rick Ankiel card collectors the world over dumped his cards on ebay for dirt cheap. I picked up a lot there and at card shows in St. Louis. The shelf next to my head has 3 Rick Ankiel starting lineup figures.
11. My first and middle names come from a tv character and a baseball player.
12. I think avocados are wonderful.
13. I am an ECW mark.
14. I listen to a lot of indie rock.
15. I'm currently waiting on an order from amazon that consists of: South Park season 6, The Simpsons season 6, and Stewie Griffin:The Untold Story.
16. I have an autoimmune disease.
17. I work tonight at 12:30 AM.
18. I think that the Cardinals need to win today, I am very much emotionally attached to this team.
19. My health insurance starts on November 1.
20. There is a Million Dollar Man figure on my dresser. The biographical information on the back is wrong. I knew it the first time I saw it.
