Hey, I'll answer my own question with a short review. Siouxsie was amazing. It's hard to believe she's been going at this for 25 years or so. Her voice is strong, she never stopped moving, the show was fluid and dynamic and exciting. And she is as beautiful as ever. If you are a fan at all, you have gotta check her out on this tour. I am in luv love

I gotta say the new SG Burlesque show was even better than the last. Cooler numbers, even hotter girls (Go Sicility! Hey, what gives on the new Suicide girls tour? I caught the Von Bondies last week and stole the poster for the Suicide Girls live show. Wed 6/30 at South Gate House. The poster sez New girls! New Performances! New Music!
WHat girls? Who's going? Will we get to see the whole show this time?

Hi! I might be moving to Cincinnati to go to grad school and so I was looking for people on SG that live there. I noticed we like a lot of the same bands and I was wondering if you get good shows in town often. I tried looking online and I haven't really gotten any answers. Do you ever go to Louisville to see shows?

I don't have to make my decision for a while, but I'm dying to know about the shows thing. Thanks for any info you have. biggrin

It's been on my 'to see' list for a long time. I missed it when it came out, but have heard excellent things and keep meaning to watch it!. She is really talented - great touch with her actors and a really understated style. Beautiful movie. - how great is Bill Murray doing a karaoke 'More Than This' and investing it with comedy and sadness and longing all in the space of a few seconds? Man.

Speaking of Sofia, I loved the show she did with Zoe Cassavetes a few years back - it may have been Comedy Central or MTV that syndicated it. I think it was called High Octane...cool, funny stuff ..maybe the will run it again now that she is getting big and famous!

Heya...definitely make up your own mind! The scene near the beginning when they crash the French man's club is pretty kick ass. Gotta dig that back to back one gun in each hand keep your back to each other and weave through a hostile crowd scene.

But...lousy dialogue, boring CGI shoot em up stuff and a weak ending...

Speaking of Uma, I thought a great group Halloween costume woulda been the chix from Kill Bill (pretty easy..especially the Uma one if you can find the bright yellow track suit).

Guilin, China is one of themost beautiful spots on earth. The mountains look just like those ones in Chinese paintings. Gorgeous.
