My glasses broke recently...
Here's the temporary fix -- dental floss and electrical tape, courtesy of my sister:
I've only had this pair for about a year and a half. They were slightly less clunky than the pair I wore before that (which you can see in my profile pic), but they had the same kinda trapezoidal-with-rounded-corners shape that I've worn for the entire 17+ years I've been wearing glasses. Here's how this last pair looked on me:
For the new pair, however, I ended up going with some straight-up oval frames:
I dunno. I'm not completely sold on them yet. It's amazing how much a different set of glasses can change the vibe of a face. I mean, I think I have almost exactly the same facial expression in both of the above photos, but the second one kinda looks like I'm smirking...

You went to BYU? You poor man. I went to Provo High which was across the street from BYU. When ever I'm down, I think that it could be worse--I could still live in Provo.
