whoa. it's been a long time since i've been here...
i almost totally forgot about the site. almost. but not totally.
yes, that's redundant.
so, uh. what's new? hmm. just everything. that's all.
i had a wild ride last year and spun wildly out of control. things got a bit dodgy and even ran a couple of months of homelessness.
then, everything took a turn for the better. somehow i managed to touch-and-go off rock bottom and gracefully land where i am at present: the happiest i've ever been in my entire life.
actually happy, that is. overexaggerated reality due to drug induced euphoria notwithstanding.
i just got back from cannes, france where i attended the midem music convention. i'm in the music business now and had to go there for work. heh. yes, very sweet. of course, i had to go snowboarding in chamonix in the french alps while i was there, of course. good times.
i have landed the best job in the world too and it looks like i'm never going to have to work again. considering that all i have to do is great fun i can hardly consider it work. i'm partnered on a startup that is set to change the entire music industry. an independent music co-op of sorts. we're rolling out the beta on july 4th 2005... independence day. it'll be amazing. http://evo-music.net
so i'm making great money and, if all goes even moderately well, poised to be a friggin millionaire in the next 5 years. not too shabby.
and i've been sober for 3 months. longest stretch in years. got off the drug train. a-frickin-mazing. too damned happy to get back on the sauce and it feels like it's gonna finally stick after 16 years of 'partying' much harder than anyone should.
