The past couple weeks have been good and bad. Things didn't work out with the girl in my last post. It's been awhile since I've been able to bring myself to date since my ex cheated on me, so even though things didn't work it was a big step for me. I feel like I'm really ready to put myself out there and start trusting people again. One step backwards, two steps forward. I don't think things would have worked out with this girl beyond a few more weeks tops, so it's probably a good thing we broke it off earlier.

I went to a lot of concerts this month - Chris Cornell, Black Label Society, Disturbed/Lacuna Coil, Alkaline Trio and Opeth. I had a great time at all of them. I think I'm going to take a break from seeing shows for a bit. Last month cost me a lot of money and I had to drive around a lot to go to all those shows. Not to mention the girl I was seeing was a 2.5 hour round trip every time we would go out, on top of everything being expensive in the city where she lives. I had to have gone a little bit over my budget last month.

I'm finally going to get a new tattoo soon. It's been 5 or so years since my last one. I've been a huge Final Fantasy fan my whole life so I figured I would geek it up and get a moogle done. I've been wanting to get one tattooed on my leg for a few years now.
