Fucking crazy. So it turns out our assistant team lead at work, the guy that sits next to me, is suspended. They called us into a meeting to let us know but didn't say why. We assumed he got drunk and got in a fight or crashed into something. He has two DUIs a long time ago. We Google'd it after the meeting and he has 90 charges of child pornography and 1 charge of sexual assault against a minor against him. I've talked to this guy everyday at work since I started there over a year ago.
Over the summer he told us he had to leave one day because his house was broken into. We found out today that that was actually the police breaking into the place to sweep it.
Just when you think you know a guy....
(on the plus side his job is open now. If the promotion I applied for doesn't go through there's another option. God damn HR is slow to do anything)
