I was hanging out tonight with a friend who I haven't seen in around a month and it turns out he got his own place. It's close to where I am now and runs for a decent price ($800 base a month, around $1000-1100 after utilities/cable/internet/etc.). The place itself was a big size, had a balcony and was really clean. I was planning on moving out in two months or so, but I think I might go down there on Saturday and ask if they have any openings. I have enough money banked, so I guess I might as well just go for it now if I can. I can always be saving up more and more money, but eventually I have to move out. It would be cool to be in the same place as my buddy. I didn't see him too often before because he used to live a bit out of the way.
Aside from that I've been really looking forward to going snowboarding next month. I've been reading up on some tips for the first time. A guy at work told me to try and learn how to stop quick. When he went his first time he kept falling on his face and it sounds like that might really hurt
