why do we put ourselves through relationship after failed relationship?
are we that dumb that we willingly throw away little pieces of our hearts to any one that shows attraction?
or is it the human condition to keep trying untill we find 'the one'?
it is said that we all have a soulmate out there, but then why is it so easy to attach?
why are there countless failed relationships and marriages?
are we just getting more stupid as the decades pass?
or is this just some sick game we invented in our subconscience to make life a little more interesting?

Or maybe not every relationship that ends is a failure.

Thank you for the kind comments in my journal...and I'm sorry for whatever you're going through right now. If it helps(and I'm guessing it won't), I'm going through many of the same thoughts and feeling you may be going through right now. My girlfriend and I broke up after a 13 month relationship(which may not seem like the longest, but to me, it was), after she got freaked out about spending so much time with me, the idea of marriage, and her space being taken away. Funny thing is, I always encouraged her to take her own space, the marriage thing was her idea(but I agreed), and really...I miss her like crazy, and I've been hurting a lot to...this was the only time I was ever in love to mind you, and worse, I still love her SO much...we're trying the friendship thing, and seeing how that goes-but yeah, it feels like a switch was just turned off, and it fucking hurts bad... sorry, that probably doesn't cheer you up does it?
