It's been a while. . .
here's what I've been up to!
Here are some pictures from the trunk show that was on Saturday (day before Easter).
Here I am at my booth! (That's Lauren to the left of me. She makes plush toys that are super-duper adorable. You can find them HERE.)
Here's Anni Pattee (my girlfriend) of Makeascene Photography. She takes MANY of my jewelry photos.
I'm a busy bee today making loads of my wirework/stone pendants. They sold like hotcakes! (Oh, to be able to say that!) I'm a bit exhausted, but I'm finding that I'm always pushing the envelope these days, willing the eyes to saty open a bit longer so I can update my website before I go to bed, willing my body to get up at 5 am monday through Thursday. Sleeping in? 7 am is sleeping in for me. I know we all have busy lives these days, but my balancing act is in finding the right balance between working really hard to get my business functioning (i.e. profitable) and giving myself enough rest so that I am fresh. AND so that I don't grow to resent my chosen way of "making a living." If it becomes just like any other job. . . well, I shudder to think.
Okay, so on that note, I'm gonna go make myself a cup'o tea. . .
