i've been reading "the guide to happiness" by the dalhi lama the last few days... it truely is an amazing book. there are so many lovely, pure ideas of ways to live life. i only wish i was more disciplined person so i could actually live my life by the principles outlined in the book. i would like to think that i could do without material pleasures, but its super hard in the society we live in. i like to think that i don't like having my ego stroked every once in a while, but i do. and its hard to put down the bottle when you're practically an alcoholic. ragardless of all my personality flaws and desctructive behaviors, i am on a new path of life. wish me luck.
the last three days have been fucking awesome. i've been writing and sculpting which i rarely have time to do nowadays. i've been pretty introverted, but with all the time i spend with others, i figured it was time to spend some time on myself.
i've been fucking addicted to hot rod circut... especially "radio song" and "irish car bomb". they just played in portland with the get up kids, but since the show was 16 bones and the security @ the crystal ballroom is tight, i figured would stay home with my new kitty.
off to school. yay! knowledge is a beautiful thing.

Yeah, "The Miracle of Mindfulness" by Thich Naht Hanh is a good book. As interesting as Budhism is I could never go in for it myself, I can't give up desiring things.

Practically an alcoholic? Hehe I didn't pud down the pint glass the other night. Some girl blew me off so i went through about 10 pints of "golden monkey' which is 10% alcohol I believe. Then I went to three bars after that. I was ytold I had at least 3 Guinness and a Belgian called Delierium Tremens. There ma have indeed ben an irish car bomb in there as well. We should hit the bar sometime =]
