i've been listening to alot of country lately. whoever said that country music is the "white mans soul" was correct. theres just something about country that hits me like a ton of bricks. the twag of the guitar... the feeling of emptiness and hope in the vocals... the warmth of the production. the new jesse dayton record has been in heavy rotation on my stereo.
all the feelings of uncertainty, skepticism, and entanglement i have been feeling lately have inspired to me do alot of writting. i stayed up until 4 this morning with a pen clinched in my fist and a pad of paper in my lap. oh... and the mcguire sisters on my stereo.
i think, just maybe, that i have enough decent material to finish my zine.
