So, for the first time ever. I am leaving a job on good terms. In fact I'll still be working for them as a contractor. This is just crazy. The emotional turbulence of having the team feel awful, but overjoyed about the new chance I have.
I have always left a position because I disliked something about the work environment, never because I had a better option present itself.
In other news:
I have a proposal I have to finish by the end of the day for a project that could pay me as much as my new salary.
Shit.
When it rains, it pours.

Good luck with the job- always hard to leave somewhere you like, but hey- onward and upward!
