Well.

It's Wednesday night, and I am trying to take it easy, since I turned in a paper today (and I think I deserve a reward), but I keeping thinking that I really need to be doing something. And I probably do (for instance, an 8 page paper due on Tuesday, another 8 page paper due in two weeks, two 20 page papers due in about 4 weeks, and a paper I have to revise for a conference) but nothing really "pressing," I suppose. Ha! I just want to hang out, smoke some, and watch some bad tv. I don't think that there is anything wrong with that.

I do have to be writing a poem, though, so I may work on that later. I am collaborating with an abstract animation filmmaker for this performance in a couple of weeks and I need to get that done so that we can lay down an audio track of me reading in time. I guess you really know when you are a writer or a poet if doing what you originally loved to do actually turns into work, and therefore slightly less appealing.

Ah well.
