I spent a large portion of today involved in some kind of work--either physical or creative.
I've worked on "The novel that won't die," thankfully, for the past three nights in a row. Though, actually, I'll been working on it bit by bit since late Feb. The fact that I've been working on it everyday is a vast improvement over working on an intended long term project, and then shelving it after a week or two. In this instance, it refuses to die, and I refuse to let it die. So, the beast is rising, slowly but surely. I am building it piece by piece.
While that is going on, I'm working on a shorter piece that I'm doing for the "why not?" of it.
On top of all this, I have my podcast that I'm working on--constantly. I was recently sent a submission for review--an internet-based horror anthology show, similiar to Night Gallery and Tales From the Darkside. I'm sucker for shows like that, so this is right up my alley. The show is actually good, and I'll make sure to talk about it on here, after my episode with the review is posted.
I spent a fair amount of today, walking, reading, and working in the yard. I attacked what I call, "Eldritch Vines," because they are tentacle-like, and grow everywhere. I pulled out a massive one, that measured several meters long. I don't know if I'll take up gardening anytime soon, but I am determined to work in the yard as much as I can. I really want to clear it out.
No real point to today's blog, just a chance to decompress from today.
Now, as the sun is setting-- onto some writing, and perhaps a bit more work on this week's podcast.
