Thanks for the comment, I'm glad to know at least some people understand where I'm coming from here. I'm in much the same boat when it came to high school reunions, also. The same group of people were there, too. Add in a few assholes that liked to make snide comments about my body, and that was pretty much my experience there, as well. I'm not setting foot back inside that high school for another 10 years... and only then if I feel like it.
