Vacation is just another thing that can skew your life in a somewhat good and somewhat bad way. The good being that you can get some time away from your daily routine of work and whatever else you do. The bad being sometimes part of that routing is your exercise routine. That is what had happened with me, I missed a few days before vacation because of packing, getting ready and taking care of last minute things. During vacation I didn't get to get out and do much, even though there was a gym in the hotel... who wants to work out on vacation? After I got back there was just things like... a long weekend, going out to catch up with friends, another long weekend... and a few gym days in between.
So starting yesterday I bumped it up again and have started back into my routine. Come home from work, work out for an hour or so... then I hit the gym before work also. It may sound a bit much to some but because of my schedule I have to throw in my work outs when I can. It has worked for me before and I have to push myself or I get lazy and don't do it. I have a work out buddy from work that goes with me during the week, but I need a work out friend for the weekends too. Just to keep things up.
I mean I have been getting compliments and it has been working for me (lost a good 50 to 60 pounds over the last few years). I mean I am mainly doing it for myself and health reasons. Getting compliments is a good ego boost too, especially for someone that had a bad self image as a child.
Anyways I hope the week goes well for everyone else.

Thank you for the comment on my pic I also get grumpy If I miss out on my exercise! I'm addicted to endorphins now Plus it is an ass-drag to get back into it when you have missed a few sessions!

totally know where you're coming from. i went on holiday for 6 weeks and lost a third of my fitness. was a BITCH getting back into working out. endorphins are a hell of a fix. thanks for the birthday love. <3
