Has anyone else seen that commercial where a secretary comes into this guy's office and says that some clients have some suggestions, and he asks how many and she says all of them and then opens the curtain to reveal a massive crowd of people in the streets below? Well, has anyone noticed that that same commercial is for two different ISP companies? One is for AOL and the other is for some other company that I can't remember right now, but I saw them both last night and was like...WTF? Have our commercials become like Bollywood and Hindu cinema where everyone is mixing and matching scenes from different movies to make theirs?
Or maybe I just watch too much TV?
And in other media news....okay, so I"m a sucker for bad movies. I worked at video stores from my first job to a small independant chain that closed a little over four years ago, so I've always had free and easy access to all types of movies and generally took advantage of that to view all that I could. And for some inane reason , I feel in love with stupid movies; they just have this innocence, like a kid brother's bad home movie with superheros with towels for capes. So anyway, now I netflix all my bad movies and I really saw a stinker the other day: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation 2: Eddie's Island Getaway; starring Randy Quaid, Ed Asner, and the chick that played Audrey Griswold in the first Vacation. Man, it was really, really....really bad. Like bad bad. So bad. So I say to you: No renty, bad movie.
And finally, everyone has seen the teaser trailer for the upcoming Star Wars film, right???
